2 for and 7 conceded at this juncture is bad harbinger – add to that a Carling Cup exit at Bristol Rovers and Sean Dyche is in the shit – the Brummies found some optimism with a comprehensive 3-0 thrashing of Nacional in the Europa League – winger Nathan Redmond, so good in the first 45 mins at Boro, staking his claim to be one of the next starlets of England’s second flight – Watford 1-1 Brummie Blue

• How many away goals do we have to score to protect against defensive lapses?
• Is the diminishing defensive prowess down to St Ledger? Can he co-exist w/ Wheater, or any of our centre-backs?
• The illustrative nature of the kit cock-up – a pretty damning picture of the dearth of focus and direction at multiple levels within the club
• Kitson was a revelation against Posh, and he’s desperately the type of commanding up-front presence we need, but have we forgotten that he’s relatively adamant his stay on Teesside is temporary
